Alena Smith

Alena Smith is an attorney in the Corporate and Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She practices in the areas of business litigation, chancery litigation, and commercial disputes.  

Prior to joining Morris James, Alena honed her skills as a corporate litigation attorney at a well-respected Delaware law firm, where she established a solid foundation in handling complex legal matters. She began her legal career by clerking for Resident Judge William L. Witham Jr., which provided her with invaluable insights into the judicial process and deepened her understanding of the intricacies of corporate law.

In addition to her preeminent legal career, Alena also possesses an M.B.A. degree from Villanova University Business School. This advanced degree not only broadens her understanding but also enhances her ability to navigate the intersection of legal and business issues, offering her clients comprehensive and strategic legal counsel.
